Ayla Grace Slivka, age 6, gained her angel wings on June 29th, 2022. She was a vibrant, silly, smart and creative girl full of love and life. She loved playing games (and winning), she loved reading to her little brother Asher in the mornings, and holding her baby sister Aspen. Her favorite color was “rainbow” and she loved to eat pizza and candy! She loved Halloween, pulling pranks, drawing, and making crafts. As a little warrior she is an inspiration to many who fought bravely and courageously against DIPG for 12 months. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten as her legacy will live on through Ayla’s Army. Her family would like to sincerely thank the community behind Ayla’s Army who have helped drive DIPG awareness and fund clinical research to continue fighting this disease. She is the beloved daughter of Tim & Erin Slivka and the beloved big sister to Asher and Aspen Slivka. In addition to her parents and siblings she is survived by her grandparents; Richard & Diane Kobrinski, Leslie & Karl Slivka as well as her aunts and uncles; Cory Kobrinski, Ali Kobrinski, Alex Slivka, Emily Slivka and Brian Bednarek and many cousins and friends; and her fluffy dog Jonah.
