Barb, the daughter of James and Mary Quigley, was born in Marietta, Ohio — the river town she cherished and returned to throughout her life. From an early age, she was known for her sharp sense of humor and joyful spirit. High school friends still fondly recall the laughter, fun, and occasional mischief that seemed to follow wherever Barb went. After graduating, Barb moved to Columbus to pursue training in computer technology. She built a successful career in Information Technology within the banking industry, where her intelligence, dedication, and warmth left a lasting impression.
More than anything, Barb treasured people. She had a rare gift for making others feel seen, valued, and loved, and she nurtured friendships with a lifelong devotion. Her home in Westerville reflected her compassionate nature — not only welcoming friends and loved ones, but also serving as a peaceful haven for pets and wildlife alike. Barb embraced life with curiosity and adventure. She loved to travel, with The Netherlands and Amsterdam holding a special place in her heart. Whether zip-lining, running quarter marathons, or planning her next trip, she lived with enthusiasm and an open spirit.
She will be profoundly missed by many, but especially by her beloved partner of 45 years, Dini DiNatale — the great love of her life. Barb is survived by her brother Bob, sister Jody, nephews Patrick and Jeff, niece Renee, great-niece Lyndsey, her devoted Dini, and a wide circle of friends who shared in her laughter, love, and adventures.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 PM at the Rusty Bucket — Barb and Dini’s favorite gathering place — located at 180 Market Street, New Albany, Ohio 43054.
