Brett Alan Snow, 54, of Bluffton, South Carolina, was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Harry T. Snow, Jr. and Laurie (Loretta) Snow. He graduated from Los Angeles Lutheran High School (Burbank, CA) in 1988 and later succeeded his father as President of Snow Aviation International, proudly carrying forward the family’s aviation legacy.
Brett’s life was defined by laughter, kindness, and generosity. His smile could light up a room, and his humor was contagious—he loved to make people laugh. He found joy in the outdoors—jet skiing, snow skiing, flying, finding a good comedy club, and anything that promised fun with family and friends. He was an exceptional mechanic, meticulous and gifted at making things work.
Above all, Brett was a devoted and doting dad who loved his son deeply. Everyone knew about Matthew—Brett spoke of him often and with immense pride. When Matthew became a father, Brett’s heart grew even fuller. To his grandchildren, he was simply “Grandaddy,” a role he embraced with endless love. Some of Brett’s happiest moments were spent in the garage with Matthew, side by side, teaching and tinkering on cars, turning wrenches, and sharing conversations that made ordinary days unforgettable. His family was his greatest joy, and his love for them was evident in everything he did.
Brett is survived by his son Matthew (Brittany) Snow; grandchildren Annee and Asher; his mother Laurie (Loretta) Snow; his brother Scott (Monica) Snow; his sister Candice (Rocky) Snow; three nieces and three nephews; and his sister Jennifer Prentice. He was preceded in death by his father Harry T. Snow, Jr.; his brother Keith Snow; his nephew Ayden Steele; and his brother Kelly Brown.
Those who knew Brett will remember his easy laugh, his generous heart, and the way he turned everyday moments into adventures. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
