Carolyn Turner

Born June 5, 1941, Carolyn lived a life filled with kindness, faith, and deep devotion to her family and friends. She was known for her warm heart, her caring spirit, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and loved. Her presence brought comfort and light to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Sara Catherine Rettemnier and her beloved husband, Thomas C. Turner.

Carolyn is survived by her loving children, Timothy (Bev) Turner, Tracy (Keith) Baker, Charles (Wendy) Turner, James Turner and Amy Turner; grandchildren, Zach (Lisa), Robby, Matt, Nick, Brittany, Lindsay, Courtney and Clayton; great-grandchildren, Luke, Charlie Zachary and Evelyn.

Carolyn is also survived by her dear sister, Mary Jane Grant; brothers, Thomas Rettemnier and Richard Rettemnier

She will be deeply missed by her extended family and many friends who will remember her for her caring nature, her strength, and her devotion to those she loved most.

Visitation will take place at Schoedinger Margarum Northeast, located at 1051 E Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio, 43230, on November 11, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Prayers will also be held at the same location on November 11, 2025, starting at 5:45 pm.

The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 4383 E Broad St, Columbus, OH, on November 12, 2025, at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH, 43213, on November 12, 2025, starting at 11:30 am.

A reception will follow the interment at Gahanna Community Congregational Church, located at 470 Havens Corners Road, Gahanna, OH, 43230.
