Celia June Funk

Celia June Funk, 85, passed away on August 26, 2023 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. She was born on June 15, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio. June was a career Physical Therapist Aide in the VA Hospital system. She will be remembered as being sweet and sassy, and for her love of her family.

She is survived by her children; Timothy Funk, Jeff (Wendy) Funk; Tammie (Chris) Livingston, and Debbie (Larry) Alessio; grandchildren, Jeff (Emily) Funk, Steven Funk, Danielle (David) Shaffer, and Monica Alessio; and several great-grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her granddaughter Colleen Alessio.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 31, from 2pm-5pm at Schoedinger Northeast Funeral Home, 1051 East Johnstown Road in Gahanna, Ohio. June’s funeral service will be held at the funeral home immediately following visitation, starting at 5pm.
