Survived by wife Elizabeth and son David. Also survived by: sister Caryl (Jim); nieces Yvonne (Jason); Danielle (John) and nephew Anthony. In addition, he is survived by a great nephew and five great nieces. He also leaves behind in-laws, cousins and valued, long-time friends.
Charlie is a graduate of Franklin University. He retired from a decades long career at The Ohio State University.
He loved the OSU Buckeyes, classic rock and history.
Family and friends may gather on Saturday, May 17 from 1-2 pm at Schoedinger Northeast (1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna). A memorial service will directly follow, beginning at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Columbus Zoo or your favorite charity.
