Chris Martin

Chris was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, shooting, and traveling, especially trips to Dale Hollow Lake, the Outer Banks, and out West. He also had a knack for making his own moonshine, wine, and beer, which he loved sharing with family and friends. Known as a bit of a karaoke king, Chris never passed up the chance to sing and bring smiles to those around him. A proud United States Army veteran, he carried that same sense of honor and commitment throughout his life. It will be deeply missed and remembered forever.

He is survived by his daughters, Nickie Stewart (Julie Sutera), Venus Stewart, and Stan Stewart (Karen); grandchildren, Marty Boden (Diane), Grant Gampfer (Lydia), Levi Sutera, Lucian Stewart, Chloe Stewart, and Stormy Stewart; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Boden, Martin Boden, and Benjamin Boden. He is also survived by his dear cousin John Trower, along with Jimmy, Lisa, Tyler, and Gavin Chinn, and many more extended family and friends.

Chris was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Ellen Martin, whom he loved dearly.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his stories, and his homemade brews.
