He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Winfield. Survived by his father, David F. Winfield, Sr., Reynoldsburg; brother and sister-in-law, Scott R. and Shannon Winfield, Columbus; sister and brother-in-law, Mandy and Nick Hague; nephews, Grady, Chase, and Colby Hague, all of Waunakee, WI; Uncle, Jeff (Kay) Lindemann, Dallas, TX; Aunt, Lori Lindemann, Rock Hill, SC; Aunt, Esther Ann (Gerry) Lawicki, Axton, VA; and many cousins and other loving relatives.
Davey loved WWE wrestling and rock music and being with his buddies in his group home where he was cared for around the clock by a dedicated and compassionate staff.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, 425 S. Hamilton Road, Gahanna, where family will receive friends following the service. Private interment later in Rock Hill, SC, next to his dear mother.
