David Smyers

Dave will be greatly missed by his beloved children, Katelyn Marie and Jay Smyers and their mother, Nancy Lynn Smyers; his brother John and sister-in-law Jeneanne Smyers, and sister, Lola (Smyers) Rife. Additional grieving family includes Barbara Greenfield, whom Dave called "Mom," and Aunt Nancy Brannon. Other loved ones include his step-mom, Angie Smyers, Aunt Ruby (Smyers) Bush, Aunt Linda Chicko and Uncle John (Betty) Paolucci and many loving nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He also will be missed by his many co-workers and friends made while working tirelessly for 34 years at Wendy's. Many of those years were working with the franchisees at SGR Enterprises. Most recently he served as the General Manager at Wendy's Easton.

Dave was a devoted father. He loved his work at Wendy's and enjoyed reminding his family more than once that he worked with Dave Thomas way back in the day!

Thank you to the caring staff at both Ohio State University and Mount Carmel East hospitals for their talented and excellent care.

Family will welcome friends on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 4-6pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME, 1051 E Johnstown Rd, Gahanna. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 6pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave's memory to help fund his recent medical and final expenses may be made to the Go Fund Me page for Dave's final expenses, .
