Edward J. Benner

Edward was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus through St. Anthony Parish. He was an avid sports fan, with a special love for The Ohio State athletics. Above all else, he treasured time spent with his family and friends, especially his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Betty A. Benner (née Monette); his children, Erin Benner (Kanda) and Ericka Boesch; his sister, Carol Marsh (John); his grandchildren, Parker, Luke, Greyson, Kaitlyn (Adam), and Kelsey (Stephen); great-grandchildren, Brendan, Oliver, and Graham; and his sister in law, Shirley Monette.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay C. Benner and Helen E. Duffy, and his sister, Roberta Hurd (Mike).

Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Edward’s life on Friday, August 7, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church for the offering of Masses in Edward’s memory.
