Elizabeth M Stelzer

Elizabeth M Stelzer,, age 94 of New Albany, passed away on January 13, 2025. She was born on October 12, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio to the late William and Marguerite (Peart) Cunningham. Liz graduated from Gahanna-Lincoln High School in 1948, then meeting her husband Jim square dancing at Valley Dale Ballroom where they enjoyed dancing to the big bands. Married 74 years, she had a wonderful life, filled with love and devotion to those around her. Liz had a busy life raising her children as well as volunteering, crafting, cake decorating, sewing and gardening. Long time member of Christ Presbyterian Church. Working later in life, she retired from New Albany Schools in 1987.

Preceded in death, her parents, 4 siblings and son Jim. Survived by her husband Jim, daughter Jennifer and Brad (Darcy). Five grandchildren, Chris, Melissa, Matt (Kaylin), Nich (Rachel), and Joey (Mykayla). Six great grandchildren, Ryan, Ava, Lizzie, Evey, Wyatt and Jay.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a service to follow at 12:00 PM at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 East Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, Ohio. Interment will take place at Maplewood Cemetery, 4585 Reynoldsburg New Albany Road, New Albany, Ohio.
