Eunice Taylor

Eunice May Taylor of Gahanna, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022, just two days shy of her 101st birthday. She was born in Circleville, Ohio, on September 19, 1921 to the late Rev. Oliver and Bessie (nee Puderbaugh) Royer.

Eunice graduated from Manchester College of Indiana and taught high school business, English, and physical education for five years. She started as a statistician for the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services and became Administrative Specialist for a career of thirty plus years. She enjoyed her New Life Church family, family, and needlepoint.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph S. Taylor; and her son, Kenneth G. Taylor.

She will be deeply missed and always cherished by her children, Karen (Walter) Wonn, Shirley (Joseph) Kohus, Clifford (Kathy) Taylor, Kathryn Edmister, and daughter-in-law Debbie Taylor. She had twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 11am to 1pm at New Life Church Gahanna, 3690 Stygler Rd., with a funeral service to follow at 1pm, with Pastor Steve Benninger officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Life Church Gahanna. Services have been entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME.
