Geneieve “Jenny” Justice, 90, of Columbus, was called home on September 8, 2026. She was born on September 3, 1936, in West Viriginia to the late Remley and Rosie (Smith) Walls. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alda C. Chuck Justice Jr., daughter, Terrie Lea Justice; Jack Stephens; brothers Dale and Colin Walls; and sister, Geraldine Spence.
Jenny was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan who delighted in sweet treats whenever she could. In her free time, she loved sitting on the patio or riding as a passenger in the car, listening to classic country music.
She spent many years driving a school bus for Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools. Jenny also had a special knack for sewing and gardening and was a longtime, faithful member of First Baptist Church of Gahanna.
Above all, Jenny treasured time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Mammy.”
The memories shared with her will be held close and cherished for years to come.
Mammy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Though our hearts are heavy, we remain grateful for the life she lived, the memories she gave us, and the love she shared along the way.
Jenny will be greatly missed by her children, Dwayne (Karen) Justice and Tanya (David) Hope; grandchildren, Trinity (Will) Lewis, Liberty (Curtis) Newman, Destiny, Aaron (Justin) Hope, and Seff; great grandchildren, Jayden, Javon, Leilani, Trey, and Mason.
Visitation will be held at Schoedinger Margarum Northeast, 1051 E Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230, US, on September 10, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral will take place at Schoedinger Margarum Northeast, 1051 E Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230, US, on September 10, 2026, at 12 pm.
