Geoffrey Stern

Geoff was a dedicated, loving family man and successful lawyer. A wonderful father, grandfather, brother and devoted husband to Barbie. Geoff loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his wife Barbie and his beloved children, Emily & Cory Staheli (Maddie & Connor), Mark & Liz Leskowyak (Drew & Lauren), his sister April Linda Riccio and family (Larry, Alexis and Andrew) and Barbie’s children, Courtney & Kris (Byron & Leo), Jennifer & Kevin (Leymah & Tess), Brian and his loyal poodles (Dudley & Victoria). Geoff’s charm, amazing style and intelligence made him one of a kind, undoubtedly contributing to the success of his 50-year law career, a 4-year term as Disciplinary Council for the Supreme Court of Ohio and many more honors. He had a passion for arts and culture with a love of fine dining, music, movies and traveling the world with Barbie. Geoff was a passionate OSU alum, receiving both his undergraduate and Law Degree from OSU, returning to OSU in retirement to continue his love of learning. An avid OSU football fan, Geoff took great pride in being born in 1942, the year of OSU’s first National Championship. Geoff was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Leonard and Tess Stern. Geoff was an inspiration and source of unconditional love.
