Geraldine Davis

Geraldine “Jeri” (Holycross) Davis was a caring, fun-loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. With her family by her side, she passed away peacefully on September 20, 2023, at the age of 84. She was born August 29, 1939, in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. She was the only daughter to the late Gerald and Evelyn (Carson) Holycross. In addition to her parents, Jeri is preceded in passing by her brother Robert Holycross.

The simple pleasures in life brought joy to Jeri. She loved any time spent with her family and bringing a good laugh to the room. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, solving puzzles and had a passion for ice cream. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met, and you couldn’t meet her without receiving a giant hug.

Jeri is survived by her loving husband Claude Davis, five children; Mark (Carol) Nicholas, Ray Nicholas, Laina (Tony) Sanders, Karen (Tim) Rorabaugh, and Eve Helenberger, two stepchildren; Nickie (Tony) Perez and Todd Davis, 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and her faithful 4-legged companion, Major.

Friends may gather at Schoedinger Northeast, on Monday, September 25, 2023, from 5PM to 8PM. The funeral service will take place the following day, September 26, 2023, at 10AM, with Pastor Marty Ertel officiating. A short graveside service at Riverside Cemetery will follow.
