Heather Renee Hernandez

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Patrick M. Hernandez; children, Luke Stumphauzer, U.S. Navy in California; Liam, Zelda, Michael, Oscar, and Phoebe Hernandez, all at home; parents, Craig and Caryl Rau, Columbus; Mother-in-law and father-in-law, Al and Mary Kay Hernandez, Columbus; sisters, Jennifer (Phil) Howard, Lancaster, OH; Allison Rau, Columbus; and many other family and friends. Heather was a Northland High School graduate. She received her Sociology degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and her Master of Divinity from Liberty University. She served with distinction as an Officer in the United States Army and with the Ohio Army National Guard. Heather was a member of numerous military associations and MENSA; she loved snowboarding, music, swimming, and travel. Most of all, she loved her family.

Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 17, at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road. Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 18, at Schoedinger Northeast. Private interment later.
