

She was born on January 8, 1935, in Charleston, West Virginia. She lived a life brimming with love and kindness. Her presence touched countless hearts, and she will be profoundly missed. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love touched us all in ways that words cannot fully express. Her departure has left a void that cannot be filled. She was deeply loved by family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Isaac and Alma McCracken; husband, Cam Miles; two sisters, Margaret Synder and Millie Dodson; and brother, Jack McCracken; son Gary McCracken; and granddaughter, Jaimee Bible.
Surviving are sisters Carroll O’Kelly, Shirley Triplett (Jake), and Nancy Holton; daughters, Cynthia Chopin (Jeffrey), Kimberly Pinnix (John), Diana Bryant, Pamela Shankle (Jeffrey); and son Michael Miles; 15 Grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 12 to 2 p.m. on Sunday November 23, at Schoedinger Northeast Funeral Home, 1051 E Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230. Helen’s funeral service will be held following visitation, beginning at 2 p.m. with Pastor Tony Katko, officiating.
Burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 24, at Kingswood Memorial Park, 8230 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center.
