Though Jack never had the opportunity to say or do anything himself, we know that he loved when his Daddy, Mommy, and loved ones made music with him, read books to him, and told him stories. He also loved to hear all about Jesus, his Good Shepherd. Jack experienced love from everyone around him, and always inspired peace when others were downcast.
The impact that Jack had was more significant than anyone expected. As his Daddy likes to say, "his ratio of impact to length-of-life was off the charts." He brought so much joy to every life he touched. His health complications led his family and thousands of others to commit a week to persistent prayer that otherwise would not have happened. The sweet aroma of the saints’ prayers certainly put a great smile on God’s face. Jack’s family and friends received deepened faith, and they were reminded of their constant and total dependence on God. This enormous impact will last long after Jack’s short life.
Jack is survived by his Daddy, David Helmers, his Mommy, Janey Helmers, and their families. He is going on to join his older brother, Dax Enoch Helmers, in the sparkly city that he learned all about from Mommy and Daddy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at Hope Church, 75 E Schrock Rd., Westerville, OH 43081, with a service beginning at 6:00pm.
Arrangements made through Schoedinger Northeast Funeral Home.
Our little love, we miss you. We can’t wait to see you again. Because of you, we are looking forward to Eternity more than ever before.
We love you, Jack Miles.
