James R. Matney, age 84 of Gahanna, peacefully passed away on July 25, 2023. He was born October 01, 1938 in Grundy VA. A son to the late William and Lydia (McClanahan) Matney. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in passing by his wife Letha and daughter Teresia. James enjoyed working in the garden, reading the newspaper, fidgeting with cars, and watching wrestling. James is survived by his loving children, Scott, Denise, Kim, Jim, Chris; granddaughter, Brittney (Spencer)
