Jane A. Eringman

Jane was born February 27, 1935 in Bayonne, NJ, and passed away on November 3, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert and her parents, John and Anne Kobielski. Jane met her loving husband, Gil, at the Jersey Shore and they married in September 1954. Gil served in the U.S Army Reserve for several years.

In 1962, Gil and Jane, moved to Columbus, Ohio as a result of his job transfer with Western Electric.

Jane was always the doting mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were very important to her, and she endeavored to keep everyone in the family connected through family gatherings throughout the year - every birthday and every holiday. And she always made sure everyone got a little something when the family got together.

Throughout the years, Jane and Gil enjoyed many activities with family and friends, including cards, bowling, racing horses, and spending time at the Polish and German clubs. While living in Gahanna, Jane enjoyed working at The Bridal Shop and Anthony Thomas. Eventually Jane and Gil moved to Pickerington.

Jane is survived by her three children, Pamela Poland (Steve), James (Jacqueline), and Julie Olds (Keith); their four grandchildren, Joseph Eringman (Josh Fitzpatrick), Keenan Olds, John Eringman (Paige Ingram), Mikayla Olds (Brandon Slitor); sister-in-law Anita Maronpot (Jeff, deceased); and brother-in-law John (Betty Lou, deceased).

The family would like to acknowledge the amazing care both Jane and Gil received while on hospice. The staff and caregivers at Care360 hospice and Violet Springs provided great comfort to her during her time in their care. The family would also like to acknowledge the unwavering attention of Jane’s grandson, Joey, during her last days.
