Jo Ellyn Packard

Jo Ellyn (nee Robb) Packard passed away peacefully on November 23rd, 2022 at Chestnut Hill Senior Living facility in Columbus. Jo was born in Columbus, Ohio to James and June Robb on the 9th of August, 1947. She attended Whetstone High School and graduated from Ohio University with a degree in education in 1970. She met her husband Howland Packard at Ohio University and the two married in December of 1970. They had two sons, Clynt and Keith Packard. Keith has three children, Kyle, Adam, and Loralei, that Jo adored. Jo had a sweet tooth and loved her desserts. She loved to read mystery novels, go to Franklin Park Conservatory, the Ohio History Center, and the Columbus Zoo. She loved the giraffes there. Howland and Jo were members of the zoo for a long time. She worked at Dee Printing in Grandview for over 20 years as an administrative assistant. She was a wonderful, warm hearted person who donated to many charitable causes. Those who so desire can make memorial donations to the Franklin County Humane Society in her name.
