JoAnn Marie Schlegler, age 84, formerly of Circleville, died on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at her residence at Embassy of Pickerington. She logged many hours volunteering and doing charity work making an impact on her community and those around her.
She is survived by her three sons, Kevin (Frieda) DeBerry, Meadowbrook, WV; Alvin (Tina) DeBerry, Amanda, OH; and Robert DeBerry, Columbus; grandchildren, Holden, Ryan, and Mason DeBerry.
Preceded in death by her mother, Eva Gay McIntyre; her grandmother, Hilda Looman McIntyre; and her brother, Gene McIntyre.
She was the president of American Legion Auxiliary Post 134, and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, both in Circleville. She loved to crochet and to bake.
