JoAnne Bokros

JoAnne Bokros, age 95, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022. She was born in Vienna, Ohio on February 10, 1927 to the late Roscoe and Rebecca (Cook) Alderman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles Bokros.

JoAnne retired from Columbus Public Schools and spent much of her spare time gardening and loving on her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her flower gardens at her home were tended with loving care. She spent many summers volunteering at Inniswood Gardens in Westerville.

JoAnne is survived by her children; Michael Bokros (Margaret), Rebecca Osborne (Charles), Mark Bokros (Sharon), Barbara Craig (Michael), Edward Bokros (Jill), Susan Bokros, Mary Ann Lloyd (Preston), and David Bokros. Grandchildren; Andrew, Nathan, Kathryn, Aaron, Rebekah, Isaac, Sarah, Amy, Kristie, Jennie, William, and Brittany. Great Grandchildren; Ruth, Elias, Logan, Chloe, Paisley, Lane, Finn, Lily, Carter, Denver, Josie, Violet, and Wesley. Every one will carry fond memories of her tender spirit.

A graveside service for family will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 10 am at MifflinTownship Cemetery, 218 Agler Rd, Columbus, OH 43230.
