Judy was born on September 30, 1944, in Piqua, Ohio, and was a graduate of Piqua High School. She spent most of her adult life in Dayton, Ohio, where she built lasting friendships and a life filled with laughter and love.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Solarek; her parents, June and Jack Motter; her brother, Jeff Motter; and her stepsons, Steven and John.
Judy is survived by her sister, Jackie; her sister-in-law, Shannon Motter; her stepsons, James C. Solarek, Jr. (Cindy) and Jeffrey F. Solarek (Karen); five grandchildren; and many cherished great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Judy stayed active and enjoyed playing tennis and traveling. She had a deep love for dogs and a keen sense of humor that brought joy and laughter to those around her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judy’s memory to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
A private service will be held at a later date.
