Kenneth L Disbennett

Kenneth L. Disbennett SR “Kenny”, age 75 of Gahanna, passed away on February 20, 2024. He was born January 12, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio. A son to the late Merle and Doris (Smith) Disbennett. In addition to his parents, Kenny is preceded in passing by 3 sisters, Carol Snow, Shirley Davis, and Suzy Edwards; brother, William (Billy Joe) Disbennett; daughter Mary Katherine Riehle and late wife Marilyn Joan (Josie).

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he cherished outdoor pursuits such as fishing, hunting, gardening, and traveling in his motorhome with his beloved wife, Pauline. Kenneth found joy in bowling, jigsaw puzzles, and spending quality time with his grandkids and cherished kitty cats. His 30-year dedication to Gahanna City Schools left a lasting impact, and his passion for horse pulls and Western shows will be fondly remembered. Kenneth's love for life will be missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Pauline Disbennett; As well as, Kenny Disbennett JR, Richie (Brittany) Disbennett, their children, Oaklyn, Ollie Tyler, Jade; Angie (Willy) O’Neal, their children Dustin (Kaylene) and Bailey. Larry David (Tracy) Land; Matthew (Kristi) Land, their children, Eli, Rylee, Liam, and Alyssa; Michael (Kristyn) Land, their children Kendyll, Aubrey, Lincoln; Austin (Samantha) Land, their children, Avery, Ryder, Ivy, Hadley; Logan (Ester) Bravard, their children, Asher, Judah, Josie.

Friends may gather at Schoedinger Northeast Funeral Home, on Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 12PM to 3PM, funeral service to begin at 3PM. A private interment will take place the following day.
