Linda Susannah Carroll

Linda Susannah Carroll, age 76, who departed peacefully from this world on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family and the cherished memories of all who were fortunate to know her.

Linda grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and went to Capital University, where she majored in music. She worked as a teacher in Columbus Public Schools, working with students with learning disabilities. Linda was a beacon of warmth and kindness, touching the lives of countless individuals in her roles as a devoted mother, passionate teacher, gifted musician, and a genuine people person. Above all, she liked to make people laugh by telling them jokes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Sylvia Cook, and her son David Carroll. Left to honor her memory are her daughter, Susannah Carroll; her two grandchildren, Lily and Nathanaël You; and her three nephews, Scott, Nate, and Mathew Cook.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Linda's life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2023 from 3-5pm. For those who are not able to attend in person please join via link to view service

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer survivors in Linda's name, continuing her legacy of kindness and generosity.
