Lois Ann (Lind) Miller, of Johnstown, Ohio, went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 21, 2023, at St. Ann's Hospital surrounded by her family. Lois was born September 13, 1938 in Columbus Ohio to the late Albert E. Lind, Jr. and Pitrina M. (Stabile) Lind. Lois was a 1956 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln HS, Gahanna, OH and an 'enthusiastic' fan of The Ohio State University football team!!! You could hear her say, 'Go Bucks!!' or 'O-H!!' to passing fellow shoppers in Meijers. She was always the first to offer a cup of coffee and sweets. She would follow that up with an invite to the kitchen table for a visit. Conversations during those visits would include her quick sense of humor. So laughter was always heard in the kitchen as the hot coffee was being poured. She was a fabulous cook, she could make a meal out of anything. Any holiday meal would fill a large kitchen table and all kitchen counters. She always maintained her hometown roots of Gahanna, Ohio and her Sicilian heritage. She never wavered from being her own person that did things her way! Lois retired twice. She retired from the Industrial Commission and ODJFS. However, she came out of retirement several times. A few highlights from her multiple employments were; a customer service rep for Discover, an inventory specialist with RG Berry, a bank teller for Chase, and a clerk for BMV (1950's). She maintained full employment until she was 74. Lois will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Lois is survived by her two daughters, Cheri (Jack) Williams, of Westerville and Teri Miller of Gahanna; Grandsons: the first Grandson and apple of her eye, Nicholas A. Largan-Lyman, her 'Punkin' of Westerville; special Grandson, Brian J. Largan-Lyman of Westerville; remarkable Grandson, David P. (Abby) Williams of Westerville; astounding Grandson, Mandel L. (Bricia) Williams of San Antonio TX; Great Grandsons, Cameron Williams of Westerville and Zsylan Williams of Hilliard; Brother, James E. (Joyce) Lind of Gahanna; Sister, Michelle M. Lind of Gahanna; Several nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and hometown neighbors. Last but not least, her furry grandson, Sammy. She is preceded in passing by her father, mother, brother Patrick A. Lind, and best friend Donald O. Miller. A special thanks to Dr. M. Visitation will be held from 4PM until 7PM on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Schoedinger Northeast (1051 E Johnstown Rd).
