Luann Elaine Headley

Luann graduated from Northland High School in 1974 and went on to work as a cook for the Child Development Council of Franklin County.

A woman of strong and unwavering faith, Luann was a former elder at Karl Road Christian Church. Her faith in God was an important part of who she was and how she lived her life. She was often approached by friends and coworkers who asked her to pray with them about the challenges they were facing or events happening in the world. Even when she disagreed with what was happening around her, Luann trusted in God’s judgment and tried not to question His will. Her steadfast faith and willingness to offer prayer and support to others will be deeply missed.

Luann was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Headley; her daughter, Adrienne M. Headley; her parents; and her sister, Marsha Murphy.

She is survived by her son, Christopher D. Headley; daughter, Karen C. Headley; grandchildren, Alex Headley (Adrienne Headley), Dominic Hester (Karen Headley), and Mason Hester (Karen Headley); brother, Denis Grabill; sister, Lynn DiLoreto; sisters-in-law, Nancy Lockard, Sandy Maricevich, Mary Connelly; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 1:00–3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Schoedinger Margarum Northeast, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230, where a funeral ceremony will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m.

Luann will be laid to rest at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43213.
