Lynn’s story began in Zanesville, met her first husband and together, they welcomed four beautiful children into the world. Summers were a time of adventure, as the McCoy family set out on camping trips, creating memories in the infamous Swiss Colony camping trailer. Liberty Road has never been the same since the McCoys left and Lynn was a presence running the road each day practicing for the Columbus Marathon.
Life brought new beginnings when Lynn married Bob. Their shared passion for golf took them on many journeys. The Outer Banks ended up holding a special place in their hearts so twice a year, they returned to its shores, celebrating their love and the game they both cherished. Lynn’s hands were always busy, whether she was crafting intricate jewelry or preserving memories in scrapbooks. But it was in the kitchen where her artistry truly shone. Her iced sugar cookies were legendary, a symbol of every holiday and a testament to her talent. Christmas will never be the same without her large cookie trays filled to the brim with all of the family favorite sweets. Laughter echoed through the house on game nights, with a bucket of margaritas, a deck of cards or dominos, and the company of loved ones. When grandchildren graced her life, Lynn embraced her role as a grandmother with open arms. She was ever-present, supporting them at events with a bag full of goodies, and always ready to celebrate their achievements. Lynn’s life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and beauty.
She leaves behind a legacy of cherished moments and a family who adored her. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the memories that will forever keep her spirit alive.
