Mark A. Aiello
November 14, 1953 – July 31, 2022
On Sunday, July 31, Mark Aiello passed away suddenly at the age of 68 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 14, 1953 to Leonieda and Marco Aiello. The Lord broke the mold when Mark was born. “The angels created a dream come true.” (His mother's words). Mark was a Bishop Hartley High School graduate in 1971 and attended The Ohio State University. He worked for the Kroger Co. for over 40 years as the produce manager. He enjoyed his work and appreciated his customers, coworkers, and employees. Mark loved the Lord. He was an avid Buckeye and Bengals fan and was quite the chef. He loved preparing meals for family gatherings and friends. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle to all of his beloved family and had a great love for all of his dogs. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Mark was preceded in death by his parents Leonieda and Marco Aiello. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley; daughters Melissa Farley, Jill (Mike) Hatten, and Mary (James) Strout, and son Jack (Laura) Farley; brother Jim (Bridget) Aiello; sisters Margaret (Joe) Highfill, Linda (David) Shaw, Joanne LoSchiavo, Teresa (Raymond) Heizer Sr. and Annette Aiello; his grandchildren Hannah (Chris) McLain, Olivia (Gregory) Graff, Madison Hatten, Clayton Farley, Hayden Hatten, and Charles (Sophia) Hathaway; and his nieces and nephews who he loved and adored, Cara Highfill (Scott), Alayna (Alex) Jacot, Amber (Dan) Arnold, Timothy (Ashley) Shaw, Thomas (Angie) LoSchiavo, Leah (Laura) LoSchiavo, Nicholas (Jaclyn) LoSchiavo, James Aiello, Erica Aiello, Teresa Busch, and Raymond Heizer, Jr. and many cousins. Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 7th, 2022 from 4-7pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E Johnstown Rd, Gahanna. Funeral service will take place Monday, August 8th at 10am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S High St, Lockbourne, OH 43137.
