Nancy A DiIullo

Nancy Angela DiIullo, 89, of Columbus Ohio passed away on March 20 2023. She was born in Columbus on May 14, 1933 to the late Frances (Ditore) and Alessio DiIullo. Preceded in death by her sisters Norma DiIullo, Mary (Robert) Brown, and her brother Edward DiIullo.

Nancy will be greatly missed by her nephew Robert Brown (Maureen Greer); nieces, Elaine (David) Blake and Susan (Loren) Foresman; and great nieces Jennifer (Chris) Mehler and Lindsay (Mitchell) DeHoff.

Nancy graduated from Holy Rosary High School in 1951 then began her career as a secretary. She held positions at Farmer’s Insurance, the Citizen Journal newspaper, Lazarus, American Electric Power, and the Columbus Foundation.

Nancy loved being outdoors soaking up the sun, taking walks and enjoying nature. She was a volunteer usher at the theaters downtown and she enjoyed Broadway shows, plays, and jazz music concerts. Nancy loved to travel and she and a friend spent six weeks one summer traveling in Europe. She loved going to art shows and Franklin Park Conservatory. Nancy had many friends and loved to play cards, shop, and go out to eat. She was active at her condo association in Gahanna and enjoyed all the activities and meeting new friends there. The Holy Rosary graduates were a tight knit group and Nancy enjoyed staying in touch with them and the frequent lunch outings up until a few years ago. Thank you to longtime loyal friend Barb Kegelmeyer for your visits and friendship. Nancy enjoyed family gatherings and our frequent visits. Nancy was a devoted daughter, sister, and aunt and will be surely missed. Anyone that knew Nancy would agree she was one classy Lady.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, 807 Havens Corners Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Services will conclude with entombment at Saint Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, OH 43137.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Central Ohio Chapter.
