Paula Rosser, age 50, died suddenly on February 11, 2024. Paula is survived by her husband of 23 years, Walt Rosser; son, Kyle Rosser and his fiancé, Alicia, daughter, Ashli Nicole Rosser, and step son, Alan Rosser; grandchildren, Coen, Riley, Jerzy, Jaylin, Axle, Bentley, and Hunter.
Paula was a rock to many and Walt’s soulmate. Walt and Paula have been together for 33 years and married for 23. The only reason they weren’t married sooner is Walt said early on “if we stay together 10 years I will marry you.” True to his word always, he proposed after 10 years of dating the love of his life. Coming from humble beginnings, Paula exhibited integrity and a work ethic that enabled her to thrive. Eventually moving from Lancaster to Columbus, both she and Walt worked at Schoedinger Funeral Service and then went on to start a very successful home improvement business, Around the House Home Improvement. Walt did the physical work, always doing what Paula “the boss” said to do, and she handled the books.
While their work was a priority, Paula and Walt, had other priorities such as family and traveling. For Paula, family wasn’t just blood relatives as she was so active in Johnstown Schools, helping all kids. She taught all who would listen the values a human being should possess. As for traveling, the places visited are too long to list, from Montana, to Hawaii, and the east coast, Paula and Walt (always together) traveled all over. And sometimes just for a relaxing weekend, they would visit their camper at the Berkshire.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Sunday February 18, 2024 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E Johnstown Rd. where a visitation will be held one day prior on Saturday from noon – 3 PM. Please visit www.schoedinger.com to leave a remembrance.
