Phyllis, of Adena, OH, was born May 15, 1940, to Paul and Lillian Stanko. Although she spent most of her life in other places, Adena was always her home.
On September 17, 1960, she married her husband of 62 years, Daniel, and went on to have five children: Paul, Terri, Kathy, Tammie, and Dan.
Phyllis, lovingly known as Bubbee, loved her family, the Catholic Church, and her Polish Slovak heritage. Phyllis was a hard worker who was always willing to lend a hand with the Catholic Women’s Club. She always had the cleanest house, a cup of coffee in hand, and was ready to go shopping. She will fondly be remembered for being a great cook, especially for her chocolate chip cookies, and as a great mother, wife, and friend.
