Richard A Headlee

Richard Allen Headlee, age 93, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Richard was born in Hilliard, Ohio to the late Earl and Bertha (Leppert) Headlee. Richard was one of 14 children, 11 boys and 3 girls. He was a true handyman and was good at everything he put his hand to. He was the go-to for many family members when they needed help around the house. He was an electrician and later an electrical contractor and owner of Headlee Electric, Inc. He was 1978 president of The Associated Electrical Contractors. Richard loved sports and activities such as gardening, fishing and camping in the RV with Arlene and the dogs. He was proud of his military service and enjoyed his experience with Honor Flight, which he was able to participate in with brothers George and Lee.

Richard will be missed by his loving wife of 42 years Arlene (Rosenthal) Headlee. Children: Rick (Jill), Kathy, Dana (Jim), Natalie (Ron) and Andrea.Grandchildren: Shane (Jillian), Margaret (Graham), Kyra, Connor (Paige), Hannah (John Michael), Zoe, Jayce, Carter and Jay. Great-grandchildren: Ashlynn and Isla

A public graveside service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Dublin Cemetery, 83 W Bridge Street, Dublin, Ohio 43017 beginning at 11:00 AM. Immediately following the graveside the family invites guests to Dublin Community Church, 81 W Bridge St, Dublin, OH 43017 for a luncheon in honor of Richard.
