Robert "Bob" Montgomery

Robert “Bob” Montgomery, 87, of Gahanna, passed away on June 10, 2026. He was born on April 21, 1939, to the late William and Eloise (Hayden) Montgomery. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Joyce and Keith.

Bob was a graduate of Jefferson Union High School in Richmond Ohio and would later go on to earn his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Franklin University. He was a proud veteran of the Air Force.

He spent his entire 40 plus year career working for Anheuser Busch as a powerhouse supervisor. In his free time he was an avid classic car enthusiast and would often attend with his 1935 Chevy Coupe.

Bob will be greatly missed by his loving wife Betty; children, Scott (Leslie) Montgomery and Cary (Michelle) Montgomery; grandchildren, Harrison, Christopher (Madi), Michael (Grace) and Nicholas; great grand daughter, Olive; siblings, Jim (Sherry) Montgomery and Dave (Cindy) Montgomery,Sister in law- Bertha Reed, brother in law- David (Kathy) Ervin, Aunt- Norma Farris; special friends, Ron (Jan) Burton; and numerous extended family and close family friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at Mifflin Cemetery, 155 Olde Ridenour Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230, US, on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 11:00am. A Luncheon will follow the service.
