

He is survived by his beloved wife of 76 years, Charlotte Ann. He was the father/father-in-law of Anne and Ken Laivins, Robert P. and Sylvia Driscoll, Judith and Philip Fahy, Timothy A. and Jeannine Driscoll, Stephen E. and Carol Driscoll and Karen and Tom Shafer. There are 17 who called him, “Grandpa,” 26 who called him “Great-Grandpa,” 4 who called him “Great-great Grandpa”, and numerous nieces and nephews who called him “Uncle Bob”. and many others who called him their friend.
Born December 7, 1928, he was the son of Isaac Francis and Gladys Spring Driscoll and the youngest of 8 children. In 1946, Bob graduated early from Central High School and joined the Navy serving in the South Pacific during the testing of the atomic bomb. While on leave in 1947, he met his future bride of 76 years at a roller skating rink. Bob and Charlotte Ann married in 1949. Following an Honorable Discharge, Bob graduated from Bliss College with a degree in accounting. As an accountant, he worked multiple jobs to support his family of six.
Bob’s pastimes included square dancing, “RedCoating” at Ohio State football games with his son, Stephen and genealogy which resulted in membership with the Sons of the American Revolution and First Families of Ohio. He attended Driscoll/Driskell/Driskill family reunions across the U.S. and Ireland.
Above all, Bob was a lifelong, faithful follower of Jesus Christ. His love of Christ was reflected in his selfless devotion to his family and his compassionate outreach to his community as a board member and financial counselor. He is fondly remembered by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren saying: “Praise the Lord!”.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26th, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230. The following day, a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 27th, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM, at Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, 425 S. Hamilton Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230. Services will conclude with internment at Alton Darby Cemetery in Galloway, OH.
