Robert was the son of Gertrude (Nellie) Shaw Houck and Cyrus Lee Houck of Gallipolis, Ohio. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Sandy Houck of 52 years and his four children: Dan (Renee), Mike (Michelle), Tracy (Bob) and Ryan. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Nicole (Bryan), Shelby (Hunter), Haley, Mitchell, Jason and great granddaughter, Milly.
Robert dedicated 40 years of his career to the Gahanna Post Office.
Those that knew Bob knew his family was the center of his life. Whether it was camping, boating, fishing, attending dance recitals or cheering from the sidelines at sporting events, Bob had a special way of creating memories and bringing smiles to those around him. He will be remembered for the love he shared so freely with his family and friends, the joy he found in spending time with those he loved, and the countless memories he created throughout his life.
His family will carry his memory in their hearts and forever cherish the many years they were blessed to have him in their lives. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends and all whose lives he touched.
