Roberta Alice Turner of Gahanna passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022. She was born on November 28, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Wilbur and Helen (Blayney) Ashbaugh. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Martin Turner, who she was known to laugh at hysterically when he mispronounced words.
Roberta is survived by her loving children, Kelly L. Turner and Leigh C.Turner; grandsons, Charles L. and Isaac L. Turner; brother, Leigh E. Ashbaugh; sister-in-law, Mary Ashbaugh; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Roberta was always known as a social butterfly; making friends wherever she went. She was a devout Christian and loved being a member of bible study, PTA, playing cards, volunteering at church canteen, and being a pen pal for those incarcerated. Her family will remember her love of Disney, Christmas, animals, reading books, ceramic making and gardening.
