Ruth Ann Douglas

Ruth Ann (Keyser)Douglas went to be with the Lord, passing away peacefully in her sleep February 24th, 2026. She was born to loving parents William and Lily (Hall)Keyser September 20,1935 in Bellaire Ohio. After graduating from high school she joined a long line of family members to be employed by Ohio Bell. There she developed a long distance relationship with her late husband Phillip (Larry) Douglas and they were married August 15th 1969.

She was preceded by parents William and Lily Keyser, sister Virginia Schultz, daughter Dorcas Douglas, grandson David Douglas. She is survived by daughters Susan (Terry)Schultz, Lynn (Randy)Messenger, Lori (Jay)Walther and son Phillip (Tracie)Douglas. Along with grand children Jason Messenger, Nikki Van Fossen, Holly Messenger, Christian Schultz, Haleigh Giovengo, Jimmy Walther and Jonathan Walther as well as many great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and sister D Jean Morgan. Ruth was a wife and mother that touched a lot of people and will leave a big hole that will be hard to fill.

May the four winds blow you safely home. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
