Sandra "Sandy" L. Lester

Sandra “Sandy” L. Lester, 71, of Johnstown, Ohio passed away on July 20, 2022. She was born in Columbus on April 19, 1951 to Jim and Florence Boyles. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ruby Boyles.

Sandra graduated from Westerville High School in 1969. She then went on to work for Kohl’s department stores. In her free time, Sandra enjoyed painting, sewing, and quilting. She also devoted a great deal of time and energy to Jersey Baptist Church. More than anything, she loved spending time with family and friends.

Sandra will be greatly missed by her husband of 52 years, Mark Lester; sons Mark Lester Jr. and Adam Lester; grandson Tucker Lester; sister Carol Brown and her children Shelby Brown, Michelle (Graham) Pitzer, and Allen Brown; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Doug and Susan Lester and their children Stacy (Dan) Scholl, Amy (Chris) Taylor, Christopher (Beth) Lester, and Timothy Lester; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dan and Deborah Miller and their son Brett (Allison) Miller.

A graveside service will take place on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 1pm at Jersey Township Cemetery on Morse Road.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandra’s memory may be made to Jersey Baptist Church and/or Hospice of Central Ohio.
