Sheila Rodgers

Sheila Marie Burkam Rodgers died on May 24, 2026 in Gahanna, OH. She was born on February 10, 1948 in Marion, OH to Jack and Mary Waggle. Sheila worked as a nurse and an aesthetician and loved animals, particularly her dog Daisy. She was a spiritual person and enjoyed attending church service every Sunday. Sheila was widowed by her loving husband Robert F. “Bob” Rodgers and missed him dearly. She is survived by her significant other Steve Rauch; children Thomas Ellis and his wife Stephanie Lett; Garrett “Lee” Burkam and his wife Amy and their children Garrett Jr, Leah, and Jacquelyn; Trevis Davie and his wife Michele and their children Halie, Colton, and Taylor. Sheila also wanted to recognize Tim and Bert Burkam for their valuable role in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Sunday, June 7 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Schoedinger Margarum Northeast at 1051 E. Johnstown Road in Gahanna, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Delaware, Licking, or Franklin County in her memory. Sheila’s family would like to acknowledge the outstanding loving care by the staff at StoryPoint Gahanna North, Summit Home Care, and Corso Care Hospice. They are angels on Earth.
