Sherri graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in education and went on to become a teacher in Southwest City Schools for 30 years and later worked as professional development trainer. She was passionate about education and especially loved the middle school age group. She was a member and leader in multiple groups, like the OEA conferences, Staff Development Council, and LPDC State Advisory. She was recognized for numerous awards throughout the years including they SWEA Presidents Award, School Bell Award, and Young Educator of the Year, to name just a few.
In addition to education, she loved to be an involved community member and worked on civic associations, a condo Board of Trustees, helped with many activities in her church and so much more. She was always busy and never stayed idle too long. Although she was devoted to her career and community she found time to read, travel and add to her pig collection.
