

Born on October 7, 1934, in Columbus, Ohio, Thomas was the son of the late Harold J. Cannon and Mildred Kuhns Cannon. He graduated from New Albany High School, where he participated in football, basketball, and track. Throughout his life, Thomas worked as a bricklayer, farmer, and welder. He was also an entrepreneur who owned and operated his own fishing charter business, serving as captain of the Top Gun.
Thomas was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will be remembered for his love of family, strong work ethic, and the countless memories he created with those who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marjorie (Fravel) Cannon; his children, Thomas Jr., Tamara (Thomas) Turley, Anthony (Lisa), Tina (Victor) DeCenzo, Terrence (Denise), Theresa Cashdollar, and Todd (Tricia); grandchildren, Tania (Chad), Thomas Edward (Michelle), Anthony Jr., Robert (Kellie), Angela (Andrew), Daniel (Alyssa), Robin, Crystal (Justin), Matthew (Tala), Olivia, and Wayne (Emma); great-grandchildren, Austin, Thomas W., Mackenzie, Jolie, Rowan, Jackson, Emma, Maria, Luciana, Adriana, Ashtyn, Sophia, Remington, Charles, Astra, and Alura; and his sister, Kathryn Alton.
Thomas was preceded in death by his son, Theodore Cannon; his parents, Harold and Mildred Cannon; his brothers, Harold, Patrick, Edward, and Jerry; and his sisters, Teresa, Louise, Mary Lou, and Betty.
Thomas leaves behind a large and loving family of children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish his memory and carry forward the values he instilled in them.
A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life honoring Thomas will be held at a later date, with details to be announced by the family.
