Born in Tokyo, Japan on January 23, 1933, she was the daughter of Kikunoshin and Yae Yokochi.
Tomoko loved to watch her grandchildren play sports, cook and take care of her home. She was very creative in the kitchen and talented with a needle. She knit, sewed, crocheted and embroidered. She was a volunteer with the Red Cross.
Tomoko was preceded in death by her husband, Susumu; her parents; and sister Yoshie. She is survived by her daughters June Meadows (Steven dec.), Lisa Bell (John) and Sayoko Cullen (John); grandchildren Ashley Crow (Kirk), Wesley Meadows (LaTricia), Lauren Cullen (Spencer), and Ryan Cullen; great granddaughter Amelia Crow, sisters Toshiko and Masako and brother Kunio.
A private family service will be held in Belpre, Ohio.
