Tracy Bocook

Tracy Lee Bocook, 58, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2022. He was born on February 1, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio, to Harold “Bo” and Mary Bocook. Tracy is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bo, Berniece, and Millie. He is survived by his parents, Mary and Bo; siblings Rhonda and Tommy (Dawn); Fiancé Patti; children: Austin and Autumn (Janet) and Colton (Tari); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many, many friends. Tracy had a knack for making people feel loved and important. His children Austin, Autumn, and Colton were his world, and he was so proud of them. Tracy was head over heels for his grandchildren, Preslee and Hayden. Tracy graduated from Franklin Heights High School, class of 1983. He was a part of the local Carpenter’s Union and a Plumber for many years. Tracy had a love for his land in Hocking Hills: camping, hiking, hunting for morels, and fishing. He loved music and playing guitar; no matter the time of day, Tracy would play loudly from his many guitars that he had collected since childhood. Tracy loved traditions, both old and creating new ones. From his larger-than-life Christmas Trees, carving pumpkins, and watching holiday specials, Tracy was always creating new memories. He enjoyed and looked forward to receiving facials and manicures from his Fiancée, Patti. He was always there to help people and would be the first to lend a hand. Friends may join his family for a 6:00pm Memorial/Reception on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Mentel Memorial Golf Course, 6005 Alkire Road, Galloway, OH 43119.
