William E. "Bill" Green

William Edison “Bill” Green, 90, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away January 29, 2022 at Taylor Springs. He was born August 28, 1931 in Bruin, KY to Elijah and Gladys (Bowling) Green. A U.S. Army veteran, Bill served during the Korean War; he was a member of the Canal Winchester Lodge 670 F&AM; Valley of Columbus Scottish Rite and the Aladdin Shrine Temple. He retired from Anderson Concrete and will be remembered for his strong work ethic. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Dazel M. (Evans) Green; sons Gary (Jeanne) Green and Shawn (Lori) Green; grandchildren: Chris (Dana), Craig, Madison (Spencer), Cameron, Carson and Emerson; special great-granddaughter Penelope Pearl; brothers-in-law Jack (Bonnie) Evans and Janis Haag; numerous extended family members. Visitation 5-8pm Monday, February 7th at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, 43230 with a Masonic Service at 7:30pm. On Tuesday family and friends will gather at the funeral home from 11 – 11:30am and will go in procession to Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens for a committal service with military honors.
