William A Hopkins, Jr. (Bill) 81 of Gahanna, Ohio died February 22, 2026. He was married to his wife Nancy for 53 years. He graduated from Pickerington High School 1963 and attended The Ohio State University. Bill started his own independent insurance agency with his wife and successfully grew the business for 30 years, retiring at age of 57.
His greatest pride and joy were his 3 grandchildren. His hobbies were buying and selling cars, Ohio State football and basketball, golf and traveling. He never met a stranger, loved parties and had a good heart with a great sense of humor. Bill is survived by his wife Nancy, daughters Tammy Wilson and Heather Sankovich, son-in-law Damion Sankovich and 3 wonderful grandchildren Hunter and Sophia Sankovich and Ryane Wilson Cutia.
Friends may call March 14, 2026, from 11:30 to 12:30 with service to follow 12:30 at New Albany Presbyterian Church, located at 5885 E. Dublin Granville Rd, New Albany Oh 43054, all are invited. After the service we will continue to honor Bill with a party at The New Albany Links Golf Club, 7100 New Albany Links Dr. New Albany, Oh 43054.
