Counts, Louise Creel, age 93 was born December 1, 1919 and passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. She is survived by her son, Wayne T. Counts (Carolyn); granddaughters, Carla Counts Bennett (Paul) and Heather Counts Swindle (Bobby); great-grandchildren, Bellamy Bennett, Sawyer Swindle, Branson Swindle, Colin Swindle; two brothers, Hugh Lovell Jr. (Nell), Adrian Lovell (Midge); two sisters, Mildred Hyden and Mary Pratt Blankenhorn; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband of 57 years, James Hodson Counts. She was a graduate of Ensley High School, class of 1937, and a lifetime member of the Mortimer Jordan Alumni Association. She was a faithful and loyal member of Enon Baptist Church for 63 years and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 8th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 6 until 8 PM with chapel services Saturday beginning at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Morris Cemetery.
