Alan Riley Tidwell of Pinson, Al passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the age of 57. Alan was employed with Fairfield Southern Railroad for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Riley Tidwell and a sister, Diane Tidwell. He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Darla Tidwell; sons, Jeremy Tidwell (Kenleigh), Josh Tidwell (Candace), Josh Prichard and Justin Prichard; a daughter, Brandy Comans (Jeremy) and step-daughter, Nikki Rock (Curtis); Mother, Dot Tidwell; brother, Carl Tidwell, sisters, Elaine Sweeney, Elizabeth Swimelar, Bonnie Gilbert, and Cheryl Tidwell; his grandchildren, Kylan Mann, Alexis Stover, Cameron Mann, Tristan Tidwell, Reese Tidwell, Avery Tidwell, Jaxon Tidwell, and Gunnar Prichard; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 22nd, at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Oneonta, AL.
