
Amanda was a graduate of Gardendale High School class of 1998 and a member of Glennwood Baptist Church in Morris, Alabama. She had a knack for working with numbers and accounting, she enjoyed working at Regions Bank as a teller. Amanda was passionate about her family and cherished every moment being a loving daughter, mother, sister, and aunt to her 12 nieces and nephews.
Amanda Leigh Hicks Watts is survived by her parents, Glendon S. Hicks, Jr. and Tina Hicks; her son, Raymond C. Watts; and her siblings, Jennifer (Lee) Loggins, Rebecca (Shane) King, Christopher (Kindra) Hicks, and Elizabeth (Patrick) McCleney; her grandmother, Sarah Hicks Lane. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews: Canzady, Presley, Eli M, Jordan, Sarah, Paisley, Hannah, Kevin, Eli K, Kayden, Isaac, and Avery; and many other family members.
Amanda was preceded in death by her grandfather, Glendon S. Hicks, Sr. and grandparents, Lewis & Sarah Gann.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking if anyone wants to donate towards Amanda's son, Raymond's college fund to please check with her family.
A visitation will be held at Glennwood Baptist Church, located at 1929 Glennwood Rd, Morris, Alabama, 35116, on December 11, 2025, starting at 1:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will follow at Glennwood Baptist Church Cemetery, located at 1929 Glenwood Road, Morris, Alabama, 35116, on December 11, 2025, beginning at 2:00 pm.
